Work has included DJ demonstration and hands-on practical sessions in various high schools - lunchtime DJ-ing - working with disaffected students to empower, train and constrcutively hang out with them. Techniques include basic mixing, tempo matching, choosing records, setting up DJ turntables, live performance and basic scratching techniques. Students will receive a booklet of DJ techniques.

This stimulates writing, thinking, cognitive and creative skills. We also aim to build up the all-round person and challenge young people that they are unique, worthwhile and gifted. If you want your students to learn poetic, linguistic, art and creative skills (in line with government guidelines), this is an excellent place to start.
Each student receives tips on delivery, writing rhymes and music for their rap and can also perform on stage if they want to.
We are also able to offer education... What is hip-hop culture? Where did it come from, why did it start? We take a look at the history of hip-hop, why it matters, what impact it has had on black America and the US / world as a whole. We look at this as a music, as a culture and from a historical perspective - all in a fun and interactive way.

This includes school lunctime performances, events organised in and with schools, workshops and even lessons. These are high quality and can involve young people in fun and interactive ways too, if wanted.
We are also able to enable or help setup events, empowering young people into roles to learn, doing video work, audio work and much more.
